Question:
Can supply water to a calcium reactor without a peristaltic pump?
Answer:
When feeding equipment such as Nitrate filters and calcium reactors we always suggest the use of a peristaltic pump to maintain a constant rate through the reactor.
If you do not have a peristaltic pump, it is possible to T off from a pump but the flow can be tempramental. If using this method the flow will need to be checked regularly and adjusted as needed.
