The Reef Zlements 2 Part Dosing System

The Reef Zlements 2 Part Dosing System is designed to replenish and balance 11 macro elements and 13 trace elements that will naturally become depleted in your water from coral growth. Meticulously formulated for ease of use to enhance the health and vitality of your reef aquarium. 

Part 1: Two versions Complete and pHplus. These two interchangeable solutions are both responsible for supplying alkalinity and 7 other macro/trace elements to your system and contain 10,000 dKH units in every litre. Just 10 ml of either bottle will raise the alkalinity of 100 litres of water by 1dKH, ensuring a stable and healthy environment for your reef. 

  • Complete: provides optimal alkalinity whilst gently elevating pH.
  • pHplus: provides optimal alkalinity whilst actively boosting pH.

Choose either Complete or pHplus or both depending on the pH you want to achieve in your aquarium.

Custom Blending: It is possible to mix Complete with pHplus in various ratios to create a custom pH adjustment specific to your own aquarium. This can be achieved either by mixing the two Part 1 components directly together to form one new solution, or by dosing the Complete and pHplus components separately, creating in effect an infinitely adjustable 3-part dosing system. 

Part 2: Now renamed Universal, is a separate solution containing approximately 72,000 ppm of Calcium, complemented by Magnesium and a precisely balanced blend of 13 other macro and trace elements essential for the well-being of your corals.

Complete

A complete 2 Part dosing system, inorganic and ionically balanced, Complete contains all main Macro, Micro and Trace elements our corals need to thrive:

  • Complete allows you to provide your reef aquarium with optimal amounts of Alkalinity and Calcium.
  • Complete can be dosed out of the bottle or, if for safety or for a smaller aquarium you prefer to dose lower concentrations you can dilute it.
  • Complete dosed as recommended will maintain your aquarium ionic balance.
  • Complete supplies your reef with boron, bromide, chromium, fluoride, iodide, lithium, magnesium, potassium, sulphate, strontium, and many other trace elements.
  • Complete can increase coral growth by 2x other dosing methods, nonetheless increased dosing consumption is to be expected.
  • Complete is likely the most cost effective 2 part system available in the UK. Dosing other elements will be minimal, however the majority of our macro, micro and trace elements are more concentrated than any other currently available and extremely competitive.

pHplus

A complete 2 Part dosing system which significantly enhances your aquarium pH, inorganic and ionically balanced, pHplus contains all main Macro, Micro and Trace elements your corals need to thrive:

pHplus allows you to provide your reef aquarium with optimal amounts of Alkalinity and Calcium whilst significantly increasing your tank's pH.

pHplus dosed as recommended will maintain your aquarium's ionic balance.

pHplus supplies your reef with boron, bromide, calcium, chloride, chromium, fluoride, iodine, lithium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, sulphate, strontium, and many other important trace elements in a level optimised for a high pH environment.

pHplus can increase coral growth by 2x other dosing methods, nonetheless increased dosing consumption is to be expected.

Tests have proven that pHplus is more effective than Kalkwasser or CO2 scrubbers at raising pH.

If your tank has a pH of 8.15 or below  pHplus is the best dosing solution for your tank.

Additional information

During cold weather some crystalisation may occur on part 1 - make sure not to dose the product whilst crystallised. Nonetheless, such crystallisation doesn't affect the product which after warming it up (by placing the container in hot water in the sink for 15-30 min giving it a good shake), will return to normal.​A suggested approach is to keep Part 1 container in the same cabinet as the sump and not in direct contact with the house floor or cabinet, this will keep Part 1 warm and will avoid crystallisation. Another option is to use a 5 watt reptile heating mat or a polystyrene board underneath Part 1 container.
