What am I looking for when checking to see if the pH probe on my KH Manager is ok?
For the KH Manager to test reliably and correctly it is crucial the PH probe is correctly calibrated and maintained.
When getting ready to calibrate the probe it is always advisable to check the probe for any damage.
Remove the pH probe from the unit and inspect down the length of the cable to make sure that there are no abrasions or breaks and no damage to where the cable enters the probe body or BNC connector.
The permeable glass bulb at the tip of the probe is very delicate and the probe will not work correctly if this is damaged in any way.
